The Real Problem With McCain's Endorsement From Reverend Hagee
As always, I will only post an excerpt so please use this link to read the entire article which contains hyper-links and is easier to read at Huffington Post:

The Real Problem With Reverend Hagee
By Cenk Uygur

John McCain was warmly endorsed by Rev. Hagee this past week. McCain said he was "very honored" and "very proud" of the endorsement.

Reverend Hagee is a Class A kook. Stark raving mad. He believes someone will unite the whole world together and bring peace to everyone - and that person is the Anti-Christ. Yeah, God forbid we should have peace. So, Hagee prefers war instead.

He wants to preemptively strike Iran to start the festivities. So, will this bring peace later at least? No, exactly the opposite, it will bring Armageddon. Then nearly everyone will die - which, of course, is a great thing because Biblical prophecy will be fulfilled and the few people who agree with John Hagee will all be saved and laughing their ass off in heaven. And the rest of us will be dead. Killed by Rev. Hagee's righteous God... (For the rest, click the link at the top of the page)

PS---Tuesday night (March 4th) there will be awesome primary coverage by TYT at www.theyoungturks.com and simulcast on www.bravenewfilms.org . There is a live chat, live blogging and live polling of all viewers. And of course there are up to the minute updates on the election. The best part? Check out the amazing guest lists they have (Super Tuesday for example, new guest list should be up soon): http://bravenewfilms.org/network/5-super-tuesday

1. But i thought that the kingdom of heaven can only come about
after the reign of the anti-christ. Shouldn't he WELCOME the anti-christ, as the necessary precondition for eternity with the lord?

I get so confused by this mythology.

2. Hagee's endorsement is a gift
that won't stop giving to the Democratic party.
I can't wait to get this thing going.

3. I hope you're right
but there is a double standard between the parties WRT nutty endorsements.

Like it asks in the clip below, will Russert treat McCain like he did Obama?

8. Exactly!.....This is a gift that Democrats need to pounce on!!
Moveon.org, DNC, etc. (or whoever is going to do an ad campaign) Rev. Hagee's endorsement is a GOLD mine for ads that should be run from now until November!!!

9. I saw a segment on ABC World News today on this
and they really sugar-coated it.

They only vaguely mentioned Hagee's anti-Catholic comments (nothing about Muslims, Katrina being the fault of a gay permissive society or wanting armageddon) and did NOT mention that McCain specifically said he was "proud" of Haggee's endorsement.

It really pissed me off.
