4. I do think there's something to be said for

keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. I won't go as far as watching O'Reilly (e.g.) because I just can't stomach it and because I know people like Olbermann will give me the sordid highlights, but I don't think it's a bad thing to read what the "enemy" is saying. It'd just be nice (for me at least) to have some forewarning -- I have limited tolerance for reading what morons write, and Krauthammer certainly qualifies.
