For Respect, Dean Should Broaden His Appeal

have at least three things in common with Howard Dean.

We both love Vermont. We both prefer fiscally responsible government. And we both hear a lot from liberals around the country, thanks to the wonder of the Internet.

Because I'm plugged into the same electronic grapevine that Dean's presidential campaign is harvesting brilliantly, I know a lot about what's on the minds of Democrats who contributed to the former Vermont governor's recent electronic fund-raising surge - the blitz that gave Dean's campaign the buzz.

Mostly what is on their minds is anger.

They've been angry since Florida. They're angry that George W. Bush was installed as president after a flawed vote count in 2000 and after Republican Supreme Court justices got together to hand him the White House keys. They're angry at the media for making it seem the problem was really Al Gore.

1. Good article,,,,I'm just glad Dean has had 12 years in Vermont....

as Govenor to help prepare him for his candidacy for President of the United States of America....and I want him to broaden his appeal, too!!
