Dean says Clinton or Obama will know when to drop out
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080428/ap_on_el_pr/democrats_dean;_ylt=AtlQ5L73gNH5ZmFsAHnHJZOWwvIE

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Monday that either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama will know when it's time to drop out of the nomination race after the end of the primaries in early June.

"We want the voters to have their say. That's over on June 3," he said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."...Indiana and North Carolina hold primaries on May 6...Dean also said that while party rules say superdelegates can wait until the August convention to make up their minds, that would be too late to unify the party and defeat the presumptive Republican nominee, John McCain.

"We really can't have a divided convention. If we do it's going to be very hard to heal the party afterwards," Dean said. "So we'll know who the nominee is and that'll give us an extra 2 1/2 months to get our party together, heal the wounds of having a very closely divided race and take on Senator McCain."

4. Screw Dean. he has been a disaster. And he has no authority to dictate to SD's.

He has one vote. That it. But he does seem to be deviously abusing his position to tilt to one candidate. That is just wrong. It was wrong when Terry Mac tried it and it is wrong now. I really think Dean , as Party Chair , should be "neutral".I had really high hopes for him and have been disappointed. Flame away. JMHO.

6. Dean has more than one vote in terms of deciding Michigan and Florida
I think Dean is choosing the only side he can, the DEMOCRATIC PARTY over the Republicans.

At some point, you have to accept when it is over. If Hillary wins, I will be pissed but I am going to vote for her in November...NOT MCCAIN!

If Hillary wants to debate in the back of a pickup truck (I get James Byrd images when she says that) about it in NC, she is welcome to do so. If Hillary doesn't win and her supporters go elsewhere, then we will get McCain. If that is the will of the Hillary Democrats and Republicans, so be it.

AT SOME POINT, THIS PRIMARY HAS TO END.

7. We haven't reached that point yet
"AT SOME POINT, THIS PRIMARY HAS TO END."

There are still several states (and territories) where voters have not had a chance to have their say. Unlike the Republicans, who have already given the nomination to Sen. McCain, Democrats still have a choice--and a voice.

Stop complaining. Keeping this primary season going is a good thing.

8. He's been great for the DNC
He has done so much more than that idiot we had before.

I guess it is all a matter of opinion.

Bless the good Doctor!

5. The candidates decided to run and they should dicide if and when to pull out.
Media whores have no rights!

Opposing party hacks have no rights to demand their opponents pull out.

There has not been a clear cut winner that suggests that either should pull out.
