Total Media Blackout on May 2008 Bilderberg Meeting
Edited on Thu May-15-08 02:26 AM by Dover
My my....must have been a super-duper secret meeting this year. Where was your favorite politician or corporate leader on 5-11 May 2008?

http://www.bilderberg.org/2008.htm

http://schema-root.org/people/societies/secret/bilderberg_group/members/

So Bilderberg may have been successful in stopping scrutiny of themselves this year, no participant list, nothing whatsoever has emerged. Me thinks it bodes ill for the free world.
Must be 'showtime'.

Complete Media Lockdown On Athens Bilderberg Meeting?

Did recent exposures prompt elite confab into super secrecy?

Steve Watson
Infowars.net

A sole report from a small greek media outlet indicates that the annual Bilderberg meeting took place undetected over the weekend in Athens, Greece amidst a complete media lockdown.

However, veteran Bilderberg investigator Jim Tucker has suggested this report may be a ruse to deflect attention away from the group who could actually be meeting this coming weekend.

The alleged meeting could also have been a pre-conference steering session.

The article from Patris.gr, (rough translation here) also carried a small picture (opposite) of some members of the elite group flanked by security. One of the men appears to be former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a long time Bilderberger.

The report states:

In Greece (in a Vouliagmeni hotel), is currently happening, according to information, the world Congress of secret Club "Bilderberg", which is brought proapofasj'zej for the chances of world, but also this is where Prime Ministers are nominated. It should be stressed, that according to the infamy that circulates round the club Bilderberg, they play for some reason, the role of an 'informal world government'.

Jim Tucker has told Infowars that he has not yet received 100% confirmation from his sources regarding the situation with the 2008 Bilderberg Group meeting.

Though not unheard of, Bilderberg usually convene at the end of May into early June. The 2005 meeting in Germany was in early May but every other meeting in the last ten years has been later in the month of May or in early June.

..snip..

Not since the early 1990s has the group's meeting gone completely undetected in some form...cont'd

2. Did Alex Jones cover it?
I think he usually tries to show up and holler at them through a bullhorn. Seriously. I know the rep he has, but I'd have never heard of Bilderberg if it weren't for him. Plus, a lot of stuff he's said in the past which caused severe eye-rolls, have turned out to be accurate. :scared:

a commentary by him about this year's meeting, but I wasn't able to turn up anything with google.

It's also possible that he may be waiting to see if, as the article in the OP suggests, this is a ruse or false alarm and that the meeting will be within the next few weeks (as it often is).

3. May 8 - Bilderberger & IMFC Chairman tenders resignation from IMF Panel
IMFC( Bilderberger) Chairman Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa Tenders Resignation from IMF Panel
Press Release No. 08/105
May 9, 2008

International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) Chairman Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa has tendered his resignation from the chairmanship of the International Monetary Fund's policy advisory committee. With Mr. Padoa-Schioppa's resignation from the panel chairmanship, which was effective May 8, 2008, the IMFC will begin the process of selecting a new chairman.

IMF Managing Director, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, made the following statement:

"I pay tribute to Mr. Padoa-Schioppa's invaluable service to the IMF and its membership. His immense experience in national, European and international policy-making, and his deep commitment to the goals of international monetary cooperation have been a great benefit and inspiration to all of us. Though his tenure as Chairman may have been brief, he played an invaluable role in working with me and the membership on critical reforms, and we were able to secure support for significant changes in IMF quotas and voice and on a new income model for the Fund. His strong intellect and quiet diplomacy were instrumental in bringing these reforms forward, and his chairmanship will be remembered as marking the beginning of a new era in which a stronger IMF will be better positioned to promote global financial stability and serve its universal membership."

Mr. Padoa-Schioppa has been Italy's Economy and Finance Minister since May 2006. He served as a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank from 1998 to 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Padoa-Schioppa was chairman of Italy's financial market authority (Consob), and held senior positions in the Bank of Italy and the European Commission. He has served in a leadership capacity on various European and international economic and monetary committees. He was named in October 2007 to a term of up to three years as Chairman of the IMFC (see Press Release No. 07/221).

5. This Year's Bilderberg Meeting To Be Held On The Moon (spoof)

After a flurry of false reports and rumours that the 2008 Bilderberg meeting was held last weekend in Athens Greece, veteran reporter Jim Tucker has swept aside the reports.

'The Bilderberg boys are now taking greater measures to prevent the people knowing about their yearly secret shadow world government meetings,' Jim told us. 'They are no longer willing to take meetings anywhere on Earth, especially after the publicity they got after the release of Alex Jones' movie Endgame - Blueprint For Global Enslavement (available for free on Google Video), so this is why I have dismissed the reports.'

According to Jim, Bilderberg have decided that they should put their secret trillions to use and build a permanent base in the Sea of Tranquillity on the Moon. This will prevent anyone, who can't afford a ram jet obiter and interplanetary capsule, from getting anywhere near them, thus protecting their plans for a scientific world dictatorship to force through their dream of getting rip of up to 80 to 90% of the world's population.

They have also decided to start the construction of new homes on the Moon, from where they can watch the death and destruction in safe and secure separation from humanities suffering and end.

They then plan to repopulate the Earth with their superior trans-humanist and post-humanist offspring.

9. Think that's why Edwards is playing politics with the powers that be now?
:tinfoilhat:

p.s. I would really hate for it to be true, but Edwards endorsement of Obama has shocked the hell out of me and opened my eyes...

12. They're spooky god-players
It will be interesting to pay attention and see if anything else comes out regarding this year's meeting. Secrecy is always a bad sign, IMO.

"Me thinks it bodes ill for the free world."

Me too. I have great concerns for this time period from now thru Jan. 2009.* Not just for the U.S. but for the whole world. It's going to be a stressful and dangerous time. Politically, economically, militarily, threats of terrorism (faux? real?), crop/food failures, shortages, high prices, health/medical crises, natural disasters, man made disasters (i.e. bridges/bldgs collapsing), etc.

What will the GOP and neocons do to stay in power? How far will they go?
Maybe they'll play fair, be civil and realize it's just not their year. Sure they will...

* Not that I think we'll have an easy time of it after Jan. 09. I just want to get the Dem elected and installed in the WH. Under new management, we'll be able to face the future and our very serious problems. I can't wait for a new mentality in our government leaders. A new approach to governing, solving problems, diplomacy, working with others and working for the MANY (not just the few).

Unelected and self-appointed would be a better term.

14. Dutch newspaper reports Bilderberg Conference to be June 5-8 in Washington, D.C.
Well, if true, that would make it much easier in many ways for our politicians to 'slip in' undetected.

Dutch newspaper reports Bilderberg Conference to be June 5-8 in Washington, D.C.

A Dutch newspaper is reporting that Holland's Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende (pictured) and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Verhagen are set to attend the annual Bilderberg conference in Washington DC from June 5-8, apparently confirming that a recent alleged Bilderberg meeting in Athens Greece was merely a ruse.

As we reported on Tuesday, a Greek newspaper claimed that Bilderberg had met in Athens last weekend, but Bilderberg sleuths Jim Tucker and Daniel Estulin, both of whom have always successfully determined the location of the Bilderberg meeting in advance for decades, questioned the accuracy of the report.

Bilderberg occasionally attempts to throw investigative journalists off the scent by having a mock steering meeting in advance of the actual meeting, diverting attention away from the location where their undemocratic scheming will take place...cont'd
