....'cep Jon snow is an affable mutt, as you can see. He meant well, of course, but his scarily uninformed questions kept making Vidal blow his top. I mean, you expect dumb questions from journalists up to a point, simply to elicit the interviewee's version of what's what, but you can see that he's shocked, however aimiably, at the elementary info he's receiving on topics. But anyway, it's obviously about Gore Vidal.

Re his favouring of Hillary, I suspect there's an element of personal loyalty involved, as well. After all, he must be aware of the ties the Clintons now have with the Republicans.

2. I love this guy, but

he's really off the wall re: Barack Obama. He had a longstanding dislike of JFK, and I'm sure Obama reminds him a great deal of President Kennedy.

He does, though, have Ratface In The Oval Office nailed, and his characterization of McSenile as "Mr. Magoo" is absolutely perfect!
