Barack Obama's Vice President Will Be...
by Chris Kelly

Just the other day (okay, a month and a half ago) I was having an off-the-record conversation with an extremely influential leader of the netroots community. How influential? Let me put it this way: Without him, there would be no Ned Lamont.

1. I think Senator Jim Webb would make
an excellent VP for Obama, especiallyw with the need to have some military experience on the ticket to counteract the inevitable RW smears of being "soft on terror" and of using fear over his lack of military experience.

2. Webb would be an excellent attack dog as VP.
Webb would also make an excellent president after Obama's term is over. Frankly I would rather see Webb as president and Obama as VP just now.

3. Do you think we really should let the repugs dictate who our
VP should be..by saying whoever his vp should have military stuff in is background is not what I think it takes to be president...just because mc cain has military stuff in his background doesn't mean he should become president...

4. This was hysterical
And now you're going to say: "But Chris, isn't Eva Paron a waxy corpse, borne crazily from place to place by its fanatical followers?" Again, we'll be running against McCain.

5. Brian Schweitzer
With him on the ticket, November would be a slam-dunk.
