McCain reclaims a place in Washington
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29570227

WASHINGTON - Senator John McCain is rewriting the part of presidential loser.

Unwilling to vanish into retirement like Bob Dole, or retreat into academia like Al Gore, or even quietly convalesce like John Kerry, Mr. McCain has quickly reclaimed a place on center stage in Washington, some days skewering President Obama and the Democratic Party, and on other days standing by their side.

“I’m the, as I said, loyal opposition,” Mr. McCain, Republican of Arizona, proclaimed this week. “And both words, I think, are operative.”

4. Oh, I remember him now.
He seemed angry about something or other, I can't recall exactly what at the moment.

Did that Sarah Palin ever get that soap opera gig she was trying out for?

Great storyline, even if a little hard to follow all the twists and turns.

6. I was just reading a story in the New Yorker
way back from Sept. 15. It was mostly about Cindy, but it cast a very, very unflattering light on his campaign, their marriage, and his lots-to-be-desired character. He hasn't changed - oh, wait a minute - he's gotten WORSE!
