It’s Glenn Beck’s “We Surround Them” Friday!
Edited on Fri Mar-13-09 02:17 PM by Joanne98
Glenn Beck is becoming increasingly unhinged and deranged these days, and today, the Anchor Baby links to his new big thing: the "We Surround Them" circlejerk campaign.

Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it? Do you believe that your voice isn’t loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore? Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone?

If so, then you’ve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sides—the reality is very different. Once you pull the curtain away you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they don’t surround us at all. We surround them.

See, I have a hard time identifying with this because I'm not hearing "voices in the distance" that surround me "from all sides." I believe there's a term for those who do: crazy people.

And yes, Glenn, you are surrounded.

He then lays out his "Nine Principles" and notes, "If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common."

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Translation: America is good, except it's about to implode because 70 million Marxists just elected the anti-Christ. Real Americans are devout, so screw the Constitution. I'm a serial liar, but I get more honest every day. No one is above the law, except the Bush administration. Oh, and dissent is patriotic -- unless I disagree with you.

Guess Glenn doesn't have much in common with himself.

FOX just showed a clip of Glenn Beck and the "revolutionaries". They look like aging yuppies. You wouldn't think yuppies would want to pick an armed fight with anyone. Remember all those "Die Yuppie Scum" bumper stickers? There are probably still millions of people who want to kill them. They probably haven't thought of that yet.

5. "Most of the get together sites in my area"

You know, it's not as if the ATF & FBI would be unaware of what these nimrods are doing... after all, it has gotten plenty of exposure (see: http://wesurroundthemmap.com ).

And I would not be one bit surprised to eventually learn that the FBI is actually "covertly" behind this. What better way to draw these cretins out into the open, than to create nationwide forums for them to "speak their minds". Personally, I would rather know who they are... so that we can more easily surround them (if need be)! :nuke:

:kick:

6. This is the lamest shit I ever read
If the family, not the government is the ultimate authority, then the government's laws don't mean diddly shit if the family doesn't agree with them.

Therefore it ain't true that "if you break the law you pay the penalty". If your family says it's o-tay you break any fuckin law you want to.

Category: Political Campaigns
Description: So I'm going to just ask you right now just to think of these things and just answer out loud. Just say to yourself yes or no. Yes or no. Is this who I am? Is this what I believe?

go to http://www.glennbeck.com/content... for the full story!

1) Yes or no: Do you believe America is a good place, that we've lost our way over the years, that we have done bad things but generally speaking we tried hard. We try to make amends. We have tried to do the right thing. Just like everybody else, we fail from time to time and we have truly lost our way in the last 20 years. But gosh, if you look at America, she's good and our founders were good and our founding documents are good. We've just strayed too far away from them. Yes or no.

2) Yes or no: I believe in God. I may not go to the same church or synagogue or mosque as the majority of people in America, but I believe in God and he is the center of my life, and God does not tell people to behead others or to persecute others that see God in a different way. As long as that god is not telling them to persecute others.

Yes or no.

3) Yes or no: It is my responsibility to try to be better and a more honest person than I was yesterday. Sometimes I fail, I'll make mistakes, but it's my main mission to be better than I was personally than I was yesterday.

4) Yes or no: The family is sacred. I and my spouse are the ultimate authority under God when it comes to my family. I raise my family, and that comes with a grave responsibility. If I fail, I answer to God.

5) Yes or no: If you break the law, you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6) Yes or no: I have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but that is not a guarantee of equal results.

7) Yes or no: I work hard for what I have, and I will share it with others that I choose when I choose, should I choose. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8) It is not un-American for anyone to disagree with my opinion, but my opinion or others' opinions may be anti-American. Anti-American rhetoric would be anything that is destructive to the Constitution and our country as our founders understood it.

9) And the last one is the government works for me. The government answers to me. I do not answer to the government.

How many are there? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. There are nine of them. Do you agree with seven of them?

Here's what I want you to do. Step one: No matter where you are right now, I want you to take a picture of yourself. I want you to take a picture, and I ask you and you'll understand as we go in the next couple of weeks, I ask you if you could bring these and ask your children -- can we post these please on the Internet, on the website? I want you to ask as many people as you know, do you believe in these things? Just seven out of nine. Do you believe in them? Then will you please take a picture of yourself. If you ask your family and you ask your children tonight, do you believe in these things. Take a picture of your spouse. Not as a family. Take them one at a time and send them to me, e-mail them to me at Wesurroundthem@gmail.com . This is how much I believe that you are not alone

14. Bring it on, you little douchebags.
Glenn, if I had ONE thing in common with you, I'd immediately walk into oncoming traffic.

You have the ethics of a pimp in a bolivian whore house.

Allow me to clarify your "principles":

1. America is good. At least it will be when we can steal another election and drive this country into the ground once and for all.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life. And I will Randomly capitalize Words as I see Fit.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. Of course, I will fail miserably EVERYDAY.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority (and Mistress Ivana, when I pay her to be), not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. Except of course the Bush administration and cronies. And anybody with an (R) after their name.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. Meaning if you're poor and work hard, we're gonna screw you and take what's yours.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable. Meaning I love making the middle class pay our tax burden.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. At least it isn't now. For the last 8 years it was, when we were in charge.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. And with the help of Mistress Ivana, we will be harsh task-mistresses.

16. 'We Surround Them' ALERT: Orange Level Threat in the Midwest

by Scout Finch

Fri Mar 13, 2009 at 11:20:04 AM PDT

BREAKING: A close call the nation's heartland. Worried about the expected flash mobs today, my friends and family are providing constant text updates from various undisclosed locations around the city. As I prepared for the day, I received an urgent call from grandma. She heard the sound of trucks and strange voices outside her bedroom window. I sprang into action, prepared to gather reinforcements and go into the belly of the beast to save grandma. But, before I could get out the door, she called back to say it was only a landscaping crew doing some work on the neighbor's yard. Or so they appear. For good measure, I'm headed over to make sure it isn't a trick and an ambush.
