AIG to Geithner: “Go Screw Yourself. We’re Paying the Bonuses.”
Somewhere in the space/time continuum, the cake rotted teeth in Marie Antoinette’s skull are smiling…

1. Me to AIG "Go fuck yourself, no more money"
And pay back what you got. I really think the guillotine should be dusted off and the blade mechanism greased up

2. This is what Geitner needs to say to AIG in response.
Give the money back. All of it. Now. Plus interest.

And then I'm going to ask the Attorney General to look into your past business practices very closely, and if anything illegal is found, I'm going to strongly recommend he prosecute.

Then we'll see about dividing up your "too big to fail, too stupid to survive" company.

Got that, f*ckers?

3. His next calls should be the the Board of Directors
pointing out to them we are prepared to call in the loans and put AIG in receivership (which we should have done in the first place). Cancel all employment contracts as part of the bankruptcy and tell the equity holders it is time to start a fire with their shares.

I can't help but think of The Who's song Won't Get Fooled Again:

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

The last election, at least in this area, seems to mean nothing.

5. it's the only way they are going to stop this bullshit.
I mean, look at the companies that were in dire straights and we HAD to give them money. Then they spend all that money on bonuses and trips and bs crap like that. And what do we do about it??? NOTHING!!! It's like when my kid talks back to me and I say, you better cut it out or you're going to get it. and then do NOTHING about it. Of course they are just going to do what they want. nobody is stopping them. They are not seeing any consequences. AIG needs to be broken up into itty bitty pieces that individually are not too big to fail. And then lets see who sinks and who swims. Get rid of the cancerous top tier that seems to be forgetting the situation they are in. Screw this!! The bonuses are MORE than we gave them. Apparently they didn't really need all that money then. huh.

8. yeah, isn't that nice. i guess it's the american way, huh.
it's like bernie madoff. he steals billions of dollars wiping people's life savings out. he gets to stay in his $7 million dollar penthouse while waiting for trial. he puts everything in his wife's name so now the people he screwed over may not get much back. if you are going to steal, steal BIG. a small time crook would be in jail waiting for trial. the government would find a way to seize everything he has ever owned.

so the moral of the story is.... if you are going to screw up... make sure you are very Big... (too big to fail) or are very very rich. doesn't give a person much incentive to live an honest life, does it.

9. Wasn't hard to figure out ahead of time
companies that are going out of business are going out of business for a reason. Throw money at them to keep them in business, you keep all the bad habits that led them to be losers in the first place alive.

12. My question is...
Who the hell is still doing business with AIG? Who is actually buying policies from these fucks? I just don't see how AIG or Citi or B of A stays in business in the long run? Cheat, Lie, steal, screw your customers and the taxpayers...who is still going to banking there and why? These are failed institutions by any means...
