Obama & U.S. against human rights abuses except for those committed by Americans
Let's not forget about investigating and prosecuting those in the Bush administration who committed war crimes.

Excerpt:

The Obama administration has endorsed a human rights Declaration that was read before the United Nations December 19 supporting the decriminalization of homosexuality. U.S. officials said, "The United States is an outspoken defender of human rights and critic of human rights abuses around the world."

But the Obama administration has so far refused to act on the human rights abuses that took place during the Bush administration's war on terror.

There is plenty of evidence that President Bush and Vice-President Cheney committed war crimes.

President Bush and Vice-President Cheney were both sworn to uphold the U.S. Constitution and chose not to when they suspended habeas corpus and gave the green light for the use of torture during interrogation. Torture is a violation of human rights. That they and others approved of these actions and were aware of them is not in dispute.

It's easy to sign a Declaration claiming the U.S. endorses human rights for homosexuals but it means little when the U.S. under the Obama administration "is an outspoken defender of human rights and critic of human rights abuses around the world" except when it comes to U.S. Presidents and their administrations.

Read the rest of the article here. Let's not forget about investigating and prosecuting Bush and Cheney.
