Japan's Suicide Forest
Taro bought a one-way ticket to the forest, west of Tokyo, Japan. When he got there, he slashed his wrists, though the cut wasn't enough to kill him quickly.

1. They do have a somewhat different attitude toward "death with dignity" than most Americans.
Not that there's anything wrong with that... In fact, sometimes it looks more appealing to me than the way a lot of people just let their miserable lives peter out.
