Thoughtful and less bombastic. Maybe he listened, so let's hope people give him a second chance. Not a policy wonk or deep thinker, he is an unabashed Obama supporter working for the country's success.

6. Doing well for a new show, I'd say.
Ed's new to TV, yet his show's better produced than you'd expect for a radio guy making his debut on a new medium.

5. sent him email begging him to get rid of right wingers
they ruin his show. glad to see maybe he did listen. this will make his show more watchable. i usually tape it so i can fast forward it when he had the right wingers on. Lars Larson drove me nuts.

7. Does Lars Larson really believe what he says or is it an act?
I cant imagine someone being that idiotic but I probably know the answer to my own question.

8. If he's still there and Larson free in a week, I'll check again
I feel for Ed a bit. His show is not his really, as he has no TV background to base choices on, so he's listening to people who say things like 'no, you should stand up for energy' and the like. Generalized production notes that have little to do with Ed as an individual.
I saw two episodes, far too right wing oriented, Ed unaware of his face as a communications tool made those segments painful, and confusing. Note to Ed: the camera takes your picture, and broadcasts it along with your voice...
Frankly, I found it disrespectful to a man of Sharpton's position and age to be wedged between two right wing radio talkers that are not even well known. That Vegas woman, I mean, she's a nobody, with no presonality, no fresh take, no following, and a market smaller than many cities. How did they even find her? Why would they use her? And why especially would they use her to pile on against an actual political figure, Al is not a pundit, he's an activist. The whole thing was awful, and embarssing, and tawdry and worst of all, amaturish.
I'm not the sports oriented argument fan that is Ed's target audience, so my thoughts are meaningless but still, I expected to watch each day, but I can not bear it. Vegas woman and Lars interrupting Rev Sharpton over and over again while Ed acted the weak hostess was a line I could not cross.
Again, note to Ed: the audience can see your face. Learn that.

9. maybe I'll give him another try in that case.
That first show! Too much testosterone. Too much yelling and I hate the on-air food fights between guests.

10. I, frankly, love his ranting and raving on his radio show.
I watched the TV show and found it flat.
