Intolerance? That’s certainly true of the 26% or so who form the hard core of the Republican Party as they view the performance of Barack Obama. There is nothing these people won’t critique. Yes, they even critique the Obama family church attendance, in an America that has freedom of religion.

1. To these people "Freedom of religion"

means they are free to practice their own particular brand while they are free to criticize/persecute everyone else's.

The real reason we have freedom of religion is that no one religion has a majority so they are all terrified that another religion may tell them what to do. Of course if any of them became a majority, that is exactly what they would do.
