"Beware" of whom you let in your house, they are not in it, for your best interest.
Whom ever Controls the Media Controls the Government and Agenda $$$$$$$

Start with the latest Propaganda push, Fox says they have nothing to do with the Tax Parties then promote and give hour after hour of coverage. This is mainly about repealing the Tax Breaks to the Rich received During Two Wars, first tax breaks in US History during any war.

This is about the rich that own and operate the news as well the advertisers like ExxonMobil that took the countries citizens for Billions before BushCo walked, leaving the monster mess behind.

If like most people you watch the news, they no longer just tell you the news of the day, they are forming opinions and will take as much time as it takes or hours paid for by companies like ExxonMobil or even a company like Waste Management that own and operate hundreds of businesses around the world for Profit. Texas Co Waste Management is expanding and controlling many aspects of your life acquiring companies by the hundreds http://www.stopwmx.org/ paying the media by advertising, bushing the agenda as they take over and acquire a monopoly.

Dick Army Republican (TX) Meet The Press Today Preaching about Taxes, worried the tax that BushCo put in place will be repealed to put it back to were it was in 2000 before he took office, that is not a tax raise its telling the rich that caused this mess to start paying back what you took.

FreedomWorks Orchestrates ‘Grassroots’ Movements To Serve Dick Armey’s Corporate Clients

ThinkProgress reported last week that corporate lobbyists are helping to orchestrate the anti-Obama tea party protests. These lobbying-run front groups, along with promotion help from Fox News, are organizing the tea parties by calling right-wing activists and asking them to organize. They are also coordinating conference calls among activists, writing press releases, providing sign ideas, building websites supporting the protests, and distributing talking points so that the protesters can stay on message.

Haven't bought into cable in years & not going to now. Library + internet + Netflix covers everything we need.

2. Always keep a mirror ball on your front lawn.
Edited on Sun Apr-19-09 12:56 PM by tomreedtoon
When someone comes to the door, look at the person in the mirror ball. If you can't see the person's reflection, he's a vampire and you DON'T INVITE HIM IN. Doesn't matter if it's night or day; some vampires have talismans that protect them from the sun.

Think that sounds crazy? What about the first poster in this thread, who's afraid of TV and afraid of seeing what the world is really like?

Think Tank Propaganda Machines
and the Death of the Free Press
by Gaurang Bhatt, MD

The unintended consequences of good policy are seen in the proliferation of American think tanks. Congress allowed the deduction of charitable contributions to encourage philanthropy for the public good. Along the way fabulously rich persons have used the loophole to set up major well endowed think tanks to serve as propaganda machines to spew out partisan garbage to benefit their ideology and assist in enacting public policy skewed towards their economic advantage.
