Minuteman Movement: Domestic Terrorists or Ordinary Criminals?
Domestic terrorists in California connected with the Minuteman Project murdered a man and his daughter at the end of May, and the story got very little play nationally. I’d lump these folks in with Scott Roeder and James van Brunn, though it looks a bit like they are ordinary criminals operating from the Minuteman organizations.

2. Actually, it was in Arizona
It made the front page of Saturday's Tucson paper. Shawnda Forde and Bush and Gaxiola broke into a trailer in Arivaca to steal drugs.
Their "organization" is not affiliated with the larger group founded by what's his name Simcox, I think. Forde and her group are criminals and espouse the xenophobic crap as a cover. Simcox and his group are redneck, gun-totin', xenophobes. They've come around here several times (I'm 10 miles from the border)

3. Saw the stories this weekend
Forde sure seems to be a piece of work. Justifying hatred any way they can and using their "patriotism" to cover for their criminality. BTW I grew up in SV and graduated from Buena ('73)...

7. I moved here in '78
I bought forty acres off of Moson road. Thing's have changed immensely since then. I am a bricklayer, and spent almost a year working on the new Buena High School.

9. I learned to drive on Moson Road in 1970
when it was a graded dirt road all the way from Rt 90 to Rt 92... I presume 39 years later it is at least paved? I still own about 10 acres just past the San Pedro toward Bisbee.

10. Yeah, it's paved
When I first moved here, you could drive the length of Moson Road and not see another car. Now the traffic is heavy. The entire Moson Road area is bought up and built up. My land is one of the few places not broken into four acre parcels, plus, I'm up against BLM land, so I have good privacy. Your land is worth a lot more now.

11. I got here
in January of '79. Am married to a Buena grad, and my daughter graduated in '97. How many of us SV'ers are here?

4. Ooh! That makes sense! It's like saying "I'm KKK" as a cover for killing black folk!
:eyes:

BTW: Gilchrist, who with Simcox cofounded the Minutemen, is on record standing up for Forde:

Racist organizations should definitely be RICO targets.
