Ky. op-ed: Mitch is like Groucho Marx

Funny op-ed from Kentucky....Mitch is like Groucho Marx. (see video on right)

To be blunt, the Republican chorus of “no” has gotten monotonous and it's time for them to change it up. We have a perfect suggestion for a more entertaining theme song, first and most memorably sung in 1932 by Groucho Marx as Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff (fire up youtube.com for his classic, duck-walking performance):

I don't know what they have to say, It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is — I'm against it! No matter what it is or who commenced it, I'm against it! Your proposition may be good, but let's have one thing understood. Whatever it is — I'm against it! And even when you've changed it or condensed it, I'm against it!

6. I feel compelled to note that Groucho was a strong Democrat
and a constant citizen activist. But of course, that song is so fitting to the GOP, just as they were during the time los hermanos Marx were in bloom. The time of the First Great Depression.
