Sign MoveOn.org's petition asking DoJ to investigate U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Edited on Sat Oct-16-10 02:34 PM by JohnWxy
http://pol.moveon.org/chamberinvestigation/

A new report shows that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been using money from foreign corporations to finance its plan to spend $75 million on political attacks against progressive Democrats this year.

This is potentially a very serious crime and it is up to Attorney General Eric Holder to use his power to stop the flow of money immediately and order a full Justice Department investigation. If he doesn't the Chamber could end up spending millions of dollars from foreign corporations to hand Congress to the Republicans in November.

A compiled petition with your individual comment will be presented to Attorney General Eric Holder.

on edit: There are "163,412 user registrations.... since January 2001" to Democratic Underground. Now as we all know, a number of Republican degenerates (okay, the word 'degenerate' is redundant, but I like to emphasize it) have crawled onto the sight to disrupt honest discussion with faux arguments and counterfeit arguments, but that still leaves a large number of legitimate DUers (who believe in democracy) and that means we should be able to add a helluva lot of signatures to the petition.

Come-on guys, be true freedom fighters. Fight the Republican degenerates in defense of our democracy.

7. Would a MoveOn petition with a quadzillion signatures really get the DoJ's attention?
While I'm perfectly willing to sign, I'm also of the opinion, to quote George Carlin:

"They don't care about you! At all! At all! At all!"

Done, anyway..

9. These petition drives are entirely useless
even moreso than calling your "representative"
