Angle: Social Security, Welfare And Legal Divorce Are Nation's 'Wicked Ways'
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/10/angle-social-security-welfare-and-legal-divorce-are-nations-wicked-ways-audio.php?ref=fpb

After months and months of insisting that she really doesn't oppose Social Security -- despite her past statements about wanting to phase it out -- now a tape has surfaced of Nevada Republican Senate nominee Sharron Angle decrying the program as an example of society's "wicked ways." And this was just two and a half weeks ago.

As Politico reports, an audio recording was uploaded to the Democratic National Committee's Accountability Project site, of Angle speaking at a church on October 10. During her speech, Angle offered a confession for America's sins -- going beyond just the standard religious conservative issues of abortion, but also the legislation of divorce, and various social welfare programs.

"And yet we're saying, 'Well, the government, we have all these programs now. Aid for Families with Dependent Children and Medicare and Social Security,'" said Angle. "That's fine, but isn't it we that should be thinking about this, isn't it us that should be caring in our community for those that the Lord has called us to? Didn't he say you honor him, you love him if you've cared for these the least among you? So we do have a lot of wicked ways that we can confess as a church, and I think that's what he's calling us to now."

3. I can't not understand how any body from Nevada would vote
for the nutty crazy ignorant POS> First of all she says she wants to ban alcohol. If they don't have alcohol they might as well close Las Vegas and Reno and a lot of the other gambling places down. Then where would the people work. I think they need to kick her to the curb as soon as possible.

4. LOL
yes Ms. Angle, in an ideal world people WOULD be "caring in our community" for those who need it - but the fact is, too many of them DO NOT, especially smarmy, sanctimonious conservatives pieces of SHIT like yourself - which is why social safety net programs are ESSENTIAL

...jist git rite with da lord!

I hear this crap every day from working people all across the country, but then when they have a heart attack, stroke, or cancer and cant work any more, they want better access to health care when they find out their health insurance stinks, and they want to get on social security and medicare as quick as they can. When they are healthy and ignorant, they can't even imagine this situation and listen to the f..ked news and the stupid preacher in their fundie congregation who teach this crap line about unchristian socialism.

"Trust in da lord, not godless government."

9. Wedge Issues are Dumb lack of original thought
Wedge Issues like lying that Democrats want your guns is a stupid reason to vote for someone.

Dems don’t want your guns, your religious rights or even kill babies. You notice taxes have gone up more during republican control but that does not them from saying, tax and spend.

You are being played because like angle in Navada, she does not have a original thought, just talking points and wedge issues.
