Peter Frampton A Reluctant Supporter Of Arnold Schwarzenegger For Governor
Peter Frampton's upcoming album Now has an unplanned connection to Arnold Schwarzenegger and the California governor's race. In the chorus of the song "I'm Back," he sings, "I'm back/Like Schwarzenegger in the Terminator."

Frampton told LAUNCH that he and cowriter Gordon Kennedy came up with the track a while ago, and they couldn't have imagined how timely it would be now: "When we wrote that--that was, what, 18 months ago? Maybe even a little bit more? So, you know, Gordon and I couldn't believe it," Frampton said. "We're trying to get it to him now. Then someone says, 'Well, do you really want to endorse him?' I said, 'Well, I don't know--I'm not running. He's a liberal conservative.'"

2. O.K. I was wrong...I can admit that.
Apparently it can get lower and more pathetic than a partisan recall of a democratic governer where 138 people including porn stars and gourd smashing comedians are among the candidates, and the leader of the pack is a horrible action film star with no political qualifications.

Apparently another scraping of the bottom of the barrel yields a the absurdity of a news article on a cheesy washed up 70's pretty boy rock star chiming in on the proceedings.

4. I posted a story the other day
about how Hollywood people, as much as they like Arnold personally, are very reluctant to vote for or support him in any visible way.

5. Frampton has a cred problem

His multimillion selling live album wasn't the least bit live--that's what finished him. I undertand Rob Lowe is helping out. Not exactly the A-list. But then again, neither is Arnold.

7. IMHO, there's no reason to be so tough on Frampton

'Well, do you really want to endorse him?' I said, 'Well, I don't know--I'm not running. He's a liberal conservative.'"
