Separate but equal ~ Here we go again
On C-Span this more the under secretary of education is pushing for separating classes by gender. Saying it will be better for their education if they aren't distracted by the sexes. He said they would be separate but equal classes and the results would show the benefits. Is there people here who believe girls shouldn't be in the same science class as boys. I can see having separate gym classes maybe but no others.

1. It isnt right anywhere.
This would only make the differences between genders more severe.

2. I'm surprised Zell Miller hasn't led the charge for Bush --
-- on this and called for the gals to stay to home & help with the cookin' whilst the menfolk go out and trap animals.

The Bush administration is extremely regressive and needs to be sent packing.

5. I dunno
I'm distracted by girls no matter what class it is, but I don't think not having girls in my classes would have helped at all.
