Boots and Stetson Don’t Make a Good Old Boy.
Edited on Mon Mar-08-04 06:34 PM by The Lone Liberal
I don’t give a damn what kind of get-up George puts on it don’t change the fact that he comes from one of the most privileged families in the good old U.S.of A.

Anyone of the good-old-boys and NASCAR dads who believes that George is not some preppy, old money, never worked in his life, east coast elite, well they would believe it if someone told them that it was rain storm, when that someone was pissing on their boots.

Oh, in case you are wondering, I are a good old boy.

1. Bush and his father are wimps. Thats the reason for all the silliness.
Having money does not mean you are smart either.

3. To quote the Smothers Brothers
(to the tune of Streets of Laredo)

I can see by your outfit that you are a cowboy.
You can see by my outfit I'm a cowboy, too.
You can see by our outfits that we are both cowboys.
Get yourself an outfit and be a cowboy, too!

4. Nor does a Leather jacket and Harley-Davidson make a "rebel"
There's nothing more irritating than some professional athlete who thinks he's "wild & crazy" because he has a Harley. Puh-leeze! :eyes:

5. Yep, a Harley can be bought

But, only Sonny can make the Doobie Brothers stars.

Same with wearing some cow crap covered work jacket; it just don't make you a working man. Hell, I bet there is an Andover crest on that piece of crap, with artificial cow paddy, brown jacket Bush wears.

He didn't make a Willie a star.

6. Just take a little vist here to Kennebunkort and to the Walker estate
Edited on Mon Mar-08-04 07:51 PM by Marianne
and you will instantly realize what the Bush family is about.

It is about "summering" in Maine.

and perhaps claiming some sort of tax break for claiming it a permanent residence.

what does "summering in Maine " mean to the elite?

Little boy George, who lived here for a lot of his life, and who attended the most elite of all NE schools, knows very well his place in New England and Maine, although he has never thanked this beautiful state for harboring him and his peers. Neither have Babs or his father ever done a damn thing for this state.

He sort of seems to expect that we will be so grateful for his presence that we will not expect him or any of them, to acknowledge the state as something they would like to reward for it's hospitality.

Nope--it is TEXASSS not Maine they will claim. and they are really funny. They have never contributed a damn thing to the state of Maine to help it's poor persons. And believe me we have a lot of them here.

It is the one of the "summer folk" the elite. There are many of them here and many in the Kennebunkport area. They stay for one or two or three weeks out of the year in their large summer homes, and then simply leave. The locals are employed to clean and keep their "cottages"
They contribute little to the state of Maine.

They are elite , doncha know.

10. You can believe me when I say that he and his daddy have never
contributed anything to Texas either. These people are TAKERS and everyone that is not rich get shafted when they are around.

7. One of the things about the cowboy uniform
I say is there is more bullshit on the inside of the boots than there ever was on the outside. Similar to All hat, no cattle.

11. Actually manure on your boots is pretty much a given when one actually
WORKS on a ranch and does not just buy a pig farm to pretend to be cowboy. This is so ludicrous that it would be laughable if it were not so sad to the real folks.

8. Bush is a fraud.
Anyone who can't see that deserves him. The problem is that the rest of us don't deserve him.

9. Absolutely a "Fraud." His ranch where he can't ride a horse, his cows
Edited on Mon Mar-08-04 08:43 PM by KoKo01
that are "leased out," his photo ops with "rolls of hay bales (mechanical) and done by the Secret Service or Mexican Immigrants or CIA, his shack in the distance behind reporters (like it's the Bush family home), and his latest "press release" about the "Prarie Hill Chapel Bass" the Chimp caught in his "stocked pond" in the back yard."

Ohhhhh...Give me a break, the guy is Hollywood all the way. But, he can't even make Reagan's Hollywood where Reagan actually got paid for trying to act (and at times ways really okay at it)!

Instead the Chimp uses some old timey "Warner/Goldwyn/Mayer" style of 40's movie to promote his vacant, sterile lifestyle where he can't have his daughters to the WH or do photo ops of family gatherings or trips with Mom & Dad, like Bill & Hillary did with Chelsea, because he and Laura have NO LIFE and two "conflicted hedonistic daughters" who are "Chimps off the old block" where they are in total rebellion that their father is such an A**hole!

And, poor Laura with her meds and cigs behind the rose garden at night are really sort of the "Reality TV" about what America has become and NOT what it COULD BE!!! :puke:
