Read where Mel Gibson's...
...production company will be hawking necklaces bearing reproductions of the nails used in his film's crucifixion. I guess George Lucas isn't the only one who can crank up the post-premiere "marketing" machine.

My question is, "Is this more like: a) the medieval church selling indulgences and post-Crusade 'relics,' or b) televangelists pushing 'prayer towels' and the like on their masses of hypnotized viewers?"

3. That sounds like something Goth
I mean that's just kind of an unusual thing to wear around one's neck; but it does seem like it would fit right in with long black robes, pale skin and black wild hair.

4. Will they put them in Happy Meals?
The mind reels with the thought. Gives a whole new meaning to eating the flesh of a cow whilst thinking about the flailing of the flesh of Jesus, replete with a nail necklace to show your friends.
Perhaps a crown of thorns will be on sale soon at a WalMart near you, for those who wish to really get into it on Good Friday.

6. LOL-I think McDonald's is too busy with Disney and Mattel, but
Cracker Barrel is more likely to do something like that. You can't have Cracker Barrel without the crackers.
