Really bad Walmart Commercial
In another example of up is downism, Walmart is airing ads that proport to show a group of good looking, hard working, and VERY inspired black folks extolling the virtues of what Walmart has done for their community.

It seems that for this target audience, Walmart is the paragon of civic duty. In this universe, Walmart apparantly re-vitalizes neighborhoods that had previously sunken into despair.

AWESOME DUDE!

Here in Walmartsylvania, Walmart is the glue, the focus of a new social renaissance.

Give 'em a TAX CUT goddammit.

1. I think BP should run a commercial
showing sea otters extolling the virtues of oil spills. Talking about how good it is for the skin, etc.

2. Do you think...
a democratic administration, i.e. Kerry/Clark, will do something to expose Wal-Mart for the evil that they actually are?

5. in the second largest
shopping market in il.-rockford- there isn`t a walmart on the west-side which is black ,latino, and lower income whites. there is going to be three super`s and a sams club-all within 10 miles of each other- on the other side of rockford. so much for helping a economic depressed area...
