And Dave knows that his Dad is a PIONEER.. There would be nothing to gain from asking the kid about CNN...

I think Dave just wants to SHOW the US that HE was right..The film was NOT doctored..

That clip will remain in his repertoire, and he will probably point out other "oopsies" from CNN from now on..

... RIGHT AFTER the interview with the kid.

I thought it was quite revealing, because in that letter, Bush had said something about how if he were that age, he wouldn't have been able to pay attention. And clearly he has the exact same reaction at events, even when people are speaking directly to him!

So, his somewhat condescending tone ("you're only a kid") is shown to be a bit hypocritical.
