What is the American Independent Party?
I've noticed that it exists in California. Who are they?

Wasn't Mary Kay LeTourneau's father involved in it?

3. It's the Old George Wallace Vehicle, Right?

I didn't know they were still around. Here's an encyclopedia reference from Grolier:

8. That's what came to my mind when I read the subject line.
I remember coming across this in the 90's when I was digging for info on something else. It was George Wallace's party back when he ran.

4. My Recollection
Is that the AIP in California is a right-wing party, and not worthy of the smallest consideration.

5. OK
They need to put a candidate on the ballot for the recall.

6. Yeah, That'd Be Good
I want as many right-wing nuts on the ballot as possible, so they engage in the electoral equivalent of the circular firing squad.

7. An AIP member needs to file
I'm surprised that they aren't on the ballot yet.
