Kobe Bryant/Colorado County where the incident happened?
Just curious. How does Eagle County vote in most elections?

5. In 2000
Gore and Nader combined outpolled Bush and Buchanan by about 700 votes. (About 15,000 votes cast)

Not a neocon hotbed, but an upper middle class haven. Vail is home to Gerald Ford. Very high cost of living.

Has a large working class population (maids, restaurant workers, resort labor, etc.), but many of them are transients or non-citizens and don't vote (or serve on juries) and many of them also live in neighboring counties with lower cost of living. Otherwise, it's an extremely white county in a very white state.

9. They reelected a sheriff who's department did racial profiling
which is why the race card is going to play a major role. Also that county is 0.5% non white.
