7. Thank goodness for Ted Kennedy!

Many consider him a left wing nut, but at least they can't say he's a candy a** like a lot of the other Dems.

I realize he and Bob Byrd are in pretty secure seats, but I wish there would be a lot more of the Dems open their mouths and demand this stuff too!!!

6. Most of the Democratic party leadership...

...doesn't give a shit about anything Kennedy or Byrd has to say. The New Democrats have already moved on...with no plans to make the Bushies accountable for anything.

- It took me three years to come to this conclusion. Don't expect them to do anything but assist in the coverup.

- Kennedy and Byrd represent the 'liberal' past to the new Democrats...a past that meant accountability to the people. The 'new' politicians want no part of it.
