Perhaps some of you guys would like to be involved in our upcoming rally in DC. Go to http://www.KerryLied.com for more information and updates. I sure as hell am gonna try and make it, based on if I am still breathing.......

It is open to Vietnam Veterans and their supporters. It is not a pro-Bush gathering, it is anti-Kerry. Dress code is business casual. No faded cammies, boonie hats, medals, and all that fake veteran, media grabbing bullshit like the stupid Hollywood movies like to use to portray Vietnam Veterans. I guess you get the picture. We have a good number of high rent speakers and others. Speakers will be hand picked and only they are authorized to speak for the group. We have security, permits and all the legal stuff in place. Many of our group are lawyers and other professional businessmen.

The purpose of this is to possibly remove some of the stigma of lies perpetrated by Kerry, Fonda, and their group about Vietnam Vets. If anybody knows where one can lay hands on a copy of Kerry's 'famous' book, it would be appreciated.

I believe your thoughtful and well constructed message on this thread deserves a reply. If you noticed during the primaries and this period where John F Kerry is in some strange sort of political limbo , Nominee Presidential Candidate or such...... , I have continuously steered away from questioning or negating his combat record. His awards were bestowed by higher Naval Authority and to question them is to question the service to which I devoted almost thirty years of my life.
HOWEVER .....I am appalled by his behavior after he left the Navy in the early 1970's. He PUBLICLY confessed not only to committing war crimes but he also PUBLICLY claimed to have led his subordinates in the commission of said crimes. This is serious stuff. I don't know why he wasn't charged by a Federal Attorney at the time but the point I'm trying to make is that this is not speculation . This is fact and there is still ample evidence of this fact today. I am personally involved in this. I served a number of tours in country and have time as a civilian in Vietnam as well. I didn't commit war crimes nor did I condone the commission of war crimes. I served my country as a commissioned officer in her Sea Services. I am proud of this service and I apologize to no one for it and consider myself privileged to have been able to serve the United States of America. This guy maligned me and to be perfectly honest I'm highly pissed. He also maligned people with whom I served and people who gave their lives in the service of our country. I try to keep partisan politics out of this. I admit I'm a conservative in the Republican Party but I wasn't always such. I became a Conservative after returning from Vietnam and seeing myself and my comrades vilified and betrayed by individuals such as Kerry and his leftist cohorts who were eagerly brought into the Democratic fold. I consider that to be the essence of betrayal and am honor bound to do anything I can in the political arena to keep Kerry from becoming President. I truthfully consider him a traitor and I call a spade a spade.

Respectfully; ZZZZZZZZZZ

3. Anything he wants. And...
if that doesn't work, which it usually does, dire threats usually fulfill immoral requests.

I think these guys are in lockstep with Karl Rove. The business casual dress code certainly makes the hiring of extra's easier.

They are not supporting Bush they are just against Kerry. The logic escapes me, I'm sorry to say.

The guy I got this from is a Vietnam Vet who is genuine in his beliefs. I have taken pains to point out the he and his friends are being exploited as usefull idiots by the Chickenhawks in the Bush Administration, but he does not believe that.

5. Don't give up on convincing him otherwise...
Doesn't he realize Bush is cutting VA benefits to the bone? many of the VA facilities have closed for lack of funding.

Maybe you should, if you could, do a background ck on this guy...

Something smells rotten here..

4. I'd like to see their DD-214s. They are probably not Vietnam vets
My guess it that they are using this issue to attack Kerry. Most Vietnam Vets that I know, myself and my buddies included here, were against the war when we got home. That was in 1968 for me. We wanted to tell the world what at horrible thing that war was. Sadly, most people didn't want to hear what we had to say.

I think that if you polled all the Vietnam vets, a large majority thought like Kerry did back then.

6. Wow, some veterans are against Kerry?
Some Jews were against Lieberman. Some actors were against Reagan. (Hell, given what we know now -- some Reagans were against Reagan.) Doctors against Dean. Veterans against McCain and Dole, too...

It's amazing that this sort of thing gets as much coverage as it does. The headlines may as well read: "Large demographic groups don't vote in lockstep," "Man admits he's a conservative Republican, but insists his dislike of Kerry is different."

8. This is chocked full of lies
No faded cammies, boonie hats, medals, and all that fake veteran, media grabbing bullshit like the stupid Hollywood movies like to use to portray Vietnam Veterans.

The medals the veterans received are fake?

He PUBLICLY confessed not only to committing war crimes but he also PUBLICLY claimed to have led his subordinates in the commission of said crimes.

This is an outright lie. Read Kerry's testimony before Congress.

9. Kerry is a traitor for excercising free speech. Bush lies in order to
launch an illegal, unprovoked invasion of a country in compliance with UN resolution, and these dopes can't see treason in front of their faces. Bush assists 9-11 and helps to cause the deaths of 3000 of our own civilians and they can't see the treason in front of their faces. What kind of robots are these idiots?

10. So They're Going as Log Cabin Repukes?
"Dress code is business casual. No faded cammies, boonie hats, medals, and all that fake veteran, media grabbing bullshit like the stupid Hollywood movies like to use to portray Vietnam Veterans. I guess you get the picture."

I'm e-mailing them this:

What part of "ending the VN conflict" is not clear, which is what KERRY's testimony was about? It is amazing that vets, whose service was FOR democracy and their "brothers" would choose against an actual brother veteran and give aid and comfort to loudmouth chickhawks like Shrub, CHEENEE, O'REILLY, HANNITY, and many more, to whom military personnel are a LOW RENT price to pay for their oil cartel wars.

The final leg of coming home is crossing Da Nile.
