went to the mailbox and pulled out a sale catalog with the front cover completely filled with Shillcraft's rendition of Jesus (blond hair in the 60's fashion; blond mustache/beard in a modern trim; and the bluest of eyes)

I'm thinking, 'good grief, you can latch hook a Jesus rug and walk on it?' but no, this is a latch hooked (acrylic or wool) wall picture, 36 by 45"

just the other day I posted an article about Arnold and his bobblehead doll. the company making the dolls also make a bobblehead jesus doll and I wondered what that jesus looked like. is he blond too?

I can hear that sucking sound.....sucking money out of pockets.

I cross stitch, and was out shopping one day, and found a Jesus pattern (the kind printed on the fabric, not numbered).
It didn't come with thread... I bought it for my grandmother with thread in the shades of brown, taupe, and green.

4. You missed the Video Jesus marketting campaign

Of course Jesus gets marketted. Thats what religions do to survive. The truth of a religion is independent of how the story spreads. There literally could have been a miraculous event at the start of Christianity. But once people started talking about it it became an idea. Once transformed to an idea every single aspect of social pressures and evolutionary survival kicked into play. Over time the stories and propogation methods that work best are the ones we are left with.
