I Watched Bush's Interview With Arab TV... Can He Be Any MORE Stupid?
Edited on Thu May-06-04 05:48 AM by arwalden
Does Bush* think that all Arab-speaking individuals are IDIOTS? Is Bush* intentionally being condescending to them? Is he purposely talking DOWN to them? Don't the Bush handlers realize how much MORE he fucks things up when he's in front of the camera?

Aside from his annoying ticks, smirks, blinking, squirming, and other gesticulations... his tone and choice of words were simply insulting.

He speaks to others in the same manner that an adult would explain something to a 6 year old child. Is it that Bush believes that this method is the ONLY way of making himself understood to people with inferior mental capabilities and an inherent inability to understand and conceptualize 'American values'.

Or, is it that Bush* himself is the one who possesses the simplistic childlike understanding of the world around him? Is it that THIS is the only way he knows HOW to express HIS OWN understanding?

In either case, it's sad. No, more than sad, it's simply PATHETIC.

2. I don't really think he cares
what they think. This television non-apology was probably only partly for the Arab people to see, more for the consumption of the American people so that we can feel certain that our great leader is doing the right thing.

3. He, Bush, does not care what over seas thinks, it is Am Voters.
He is the President so for get what we think of him, he got enough votes to be where he is, so he is the one with the power. I do not care if he has an IQ or 180 or 80 he is the one to get out of that office. And he is sure at the head of some who really love the guy.He does seem to be making the mess of all mess in this country. Now more money to put into the sink-hole these Republicans have made of the whole world.

5. Shallow
W has a border line IQ and the maturity of an 8 yr. old. He isn't talking down. He is at his peak level. He probably also thinks that his little interview would calm the Muslims down and that he did a great job. You know damn well his puppet masters told him that he did. It is really dificult to understand how above average people can stomach this dolt.

19. target was american voters, not arabs, correct
He does not really give a sh** about Arabs, his words were not aimed at them.

They were aimed at Americans, to make sure americans don't think that this kind of thing is representative of the Bush policies as a whole.

In other words, to prevent the veil from being ripped off of the truth about Bush's policies.

To reassure Americans that the US is a "force for good" despite all of the evidence to the contrary.

6. RE:"Can He Be Any MORE Stupid?"
In a word, NO! Bush wants to ignite the entire middle east IMO! Bush has hold of the Mother Of All Hot Potatoes and is too stupid to drop it! He'll keep on until when we do have to pull out of Iraq, that the same thing will happen that did when we pulled out of Nam! The bad guys will move in and kill off millions!

The Bush KKKlan in into Population control as well as oil stealing! Make some money and rub out a few million who are brown an therefore unfit to live is the Eugenic Mania Master's MO! Ever wondered why the NEO Nazis have been so calm for the last 3 years? I think it's because Bush is doing exactly what the hard core idiots had dreamed of for so long! Iraqis are not the right color to fit into the Master Race scheme so the Aryans are out to dehumanize and snuff!

People like Trent Lot are orgasmic over the shit Bush is doing with your tax dollars as I type! No nobody can be more stupid than the ones who uphold the GROFAZ!

8. And does he even know the meaning of the word "abhorrent"?
... which he pronounces "borent". Or is it just something that Rove told him to say, so he repeats it without really understanding what it is that he's parroting?

in an online poll at muslimwakeup.com, 86.2% said the Chimp's appearence on Arab TV made things worse rather than helping America's image.

In Berlin the Arab community boycotted the broadcast - the only time I've ever seen the TV-sets turned off in the Arab cafes.

12. disasterous interview
nothing good will come of it. i prefer my pompous windbags to at least be able to fake sincerity, but he just came off as bwana boss.

he insulted the arab world by suggesting that they can't believe their own eyes regarding the photos. 'americans don't do that stuff', and, 'we are a free and open people', why didn't he just spit in their faces?

this whole period in american history, starting in 2000 will be remembered as a total disaster. it'll take decades to repair the damage from these maniacs.

so that Americans won't be upset when they are murdered and tortured. And what better way than to get a condescending idiot to "explain" things to them?

16. And he didn't apologize.
And as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, with full and final responsibility over the military, he SHOULD apologize. And fuck anyone who says otherwise. I'm sick and tired of this man pushing blame on everybody else except himself. He wanted this goddamned job. He needs to start showing personal responsibility for what goes on in HIS administration.

17. I-i-i-i ... KNOW! Can You Believe It? Simply Amazing. Simply DISGUSTING!
... later on, Condi Rice apologized for him (in a roundabout way) without actually issuing an apology.

I'm guessing that after we were forced to apologize to the Chinesers for invading their airspace with our super-secret spy plane (which they disassembled for us)... this administration is pretty touchy when it comes to issuing apologies.

They will issue an undeserved apology to China, but NO official apology will be forthcoming for THIS abuse.

18. And Scott McClellan, when asked by the press corps, if Bush will apologize
said "I'm doing it for him".

Bullshit, bullshit and bullshit. It's NOT coming from Mr. Bush's lips. It's his underlings.

And it is NOT a personal apology.

This man avoids personal responsibility like the plague. It's "everyone else's problem", not his.

21. He usually sort of whines when he's addressing reporters
when he defends a fuckup or position he generally uses a complaining tone which implies he shouldn't have to be explaining himself at all.

23. You're Correct. Good Observation. --- Does that mean...
... that he's doing it by design, intentionally, so as to give the appearance that the criticism is undeserved? Or does Bush* actually believe that we have done nothing very wrong, and that it's all under control, and that everyone is just blowing it all out of proportion?

I don't think he's smart enough to be that calculated... I believe that in the Bush* mind, he finds the abusive actions justified and he finds the photos amusing and titillating. --- Which would DEFINITELY explain why he's whining (as you noted) and uses that complaining and defensive tone.

What a fucking jerk.

25. He doesn't just talk to the Arab world..
... as though they are 6 years old, he talks to Americans like we are six. From this you could reach either of two conclusions...

1) He thinks that six years old is the median intellect of his American audience

or

2) He has the intellect of a six year old.

You decide :)
