Kerry the War Criminal
Edited on Fri May-14-04 12:25 PM by wtmusic
After just getting off the phone with a repuke business client (with whom I should know better than to tangle) he asked if I was going to vote for "Kerry the War Criminal". When pressed, he says, "Oh yeah, don't you know about the stuff he did in 'Nam?"

"Whatever it was it doesn't even compare to starting an illegal war as commander."

His response was, "Well I don't think you can compare Iraq to war crimes in Vietnam," the implication being that what Kerry did was worse. Da noiv!

Is this the meme being floated on the talkradio cesspool? Excuse my ignorance--I just can't listen to it myself.

Fucking amazing.

6. I woulda shoved that right back down his throat

asking him why he's supporting a silver spoon phoney
who has never seen combat instead of a true American
who has actually been in combat and knows what it means.

14. That's the ticket
And if he wants to know about war crimes in Vietnam tell him to ask Colin Powell about the My Lai massacre.

10. Next time, try the BKL Rope Trick
Attacker loses. Every time.

"Are you going to vote for Kerry? He sodomizes little girls!"

"Sodomizes little girls, does he?"

"Oh, yeah!"

"Why do you say that?"

Let him talk himself into fouling himself.

"Take a lot of interest in sodomizing little girls / spreading gossip, do you?"

I call it the "Rope Trick" because of the old saying -- "Give him enough rope, and he'll hang himself!"

11. INHO, RW is deliberately combining several things
1- there is maybe some evidence that BOB KERREY was part of some atrocity action in VN

2- John Kerry testified before Congress in early 70s about US atrocities in VN that he HEARD other soldiers confess to at the Winter Soldier hearings in Detroit (?)

3- confusion many people have over medals, ribbons, and why would someone throw them away if he did not think they were 'tainted' - Kerry apparently thot they were 'tainted' by being earned in an illegimate war - RW wants people to think they were earned by his 'doing' something tainted

Basically lie and confuse and lie - SOP for GOP

15. Bingo-
Kerry's Winter Soldier testimony has been misconstrued as first an accusation against soldiers BY HIM, and lately I've heard a couple folks refer to it as a confession.

This is gonna be Kerry's "invented the internet" meme~ gonna be a hard one to stop once the Scaife-Murdoch-Moon side of the media latches on to it.

16. yes, and some more info
some are trying to spread another story about how kerry was told to leave vietnam because he refused to follow orders . they say kerry didn't show any restraint in attacking and using his weapons. that they tried to stop him but he just enjoyed killing so much. and that his purple hearts and other medals show he was a bad soldier since he got hit and good soldiers know how to avoid getting hit.

i'm sure this is the new stuff they are trying to spread since the first lies about his vietnam service were proved to be false with the opening of his military records .

Told to leave Vietnam because he refused to follow orders -- prove it, it's not in the material we've seen so far.

Didn't show restraint in attacking and using his weapons -- again, prove it. What we do know is that he killed a guy armed with a rocket launcher, and that he lost no men in the subsequent attack. His "lack of restraint" (thug speak for bravery) saved the life of one of his men, whom he personally fished out of the water while under fire and injured himself.

They tried to stop him -- dare I say prove it again?

He just enjoyed killing so much -- you know.

His purple hearts and medals show he was a bad soldier/good soldiers know how to avoid getting hit -- oh, yeah, everyone injured or killed in war was just a bad soldier. Way to appreciate their service. Try this one on Bob Dole. How about GHW Bush's plane getting hit and his bailing out of his plane? That's one lousy pilot.

Why provide "more info" like this? This isn't info. It's a smear, and you're spreading it.
