Tonight's most probable lead story: Gas prices
Edited on Fri May-14-04 02:56 PM by Paragon
I'm entering data into Ohio's Local Media section of Campaign Underground, and the gas story is all I'm coming across, in paper after paper after paper.

I'm sure this is old news to some of you in bigger cities, but once this hits Middle America, watch out.

2. Exactly. In Wichita KS gas is just under 2 bucks a gallon.
It ws 1.97 by my house and my brother called and said in his town (local suburb) it was 1.99.

3. Believe me, when it gets over $2 you really start to think about it
I'm paying about $2.06 now in northern NM, and i would have to say that the $2 line is a big one psychologically. When you have to cross it, and lay down your cash-money-bucks or plastic, you KNOW it.

Ding a ling a ling.

America is getting screwed big time by BushCo and its oil cronies.

Ding a ling a ling.

4. I gotta say, my hubby and I are so glad we bought a house
only 9 miles away from our workplaces -- and within a mile of stores we frequent. It meant living in town when we really like the country, but it has saved us so much time, and now will save us tons of money, too.

I expect that high gas prices will be the undoing of many politicians, not just Bush.
