Clueless Freepers--You were such fun!
Before I was banned, when the hoopla of celebrity antiwar activism was at its peak, many Freepers were not aware that Arnold was even a repukian.

Below is a particular post in which a poster touted that all of Hollywood would no longer be necessary for conservatives:

"Lifelike animation software is just around the corner. A group of creative writers and artists can generate their own movies. Graphic cards and hardware need to catch up. One can create physical characters that are perfect and impune it with their own characteristics. The day of the actor and movie executives choking off creative people and conservative politics will soon be over."

Here is another one:

"high-rent mouths of Arnold"

And my response:

I thought Arnold was Republican and his wife a Democrat. No?

Bandwagon bozos if you ask me.

1. Boy, it wasn't that long ago...
...that the rant was for the likes of The Dixie Chicks, Susan and Toy, Babs, etc. to SHUT THE HELL UP! Celebrities have no business speaking out, or becoming politically active!
What's their spin now vis-a-vis Arnie?

3. Arnold is SOOOO Wonderful . . .
. . . . and the Freeper whine today was why is Katie Couric giving LL Cool J an easy time and Arnold a difficult one?

Because LL Cool J is not running for an important political office?? Ya think??

4. To spin away from their anti-celebrity rhetoric.......
The talk of the town is that Arnold is quite the money-maker -- he earned $50 million in the last two years alone!!!

If he can make money .....he must be worthy.

Problem is..... Babs has knack for making money too.......

Along with the rest of their kind...even if he is married to one of them "Teddy Kennedy family libruls"! :eyes:

These fools will suck up to ANYBODY for a little access...and for a shot at another Prop 13, of course. :eyes:

5. and the really hilarious thing is
that when you call them on their hypocracy they'll say..."hey, wait a minute, so it's ok with you if robbins and garroffallo (sp?) speak out...just don't let it be a republican." This is the logic they use and the freepers eat it up. It's the same thing they said about Bennett. We were the hypocrites, remember? sheesh.
