Is there any question who wins this argument?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A42085-2003Aug10.html

"The report has brought square into the mainstream an obscure but increasingly nasty debate between about 900 computer scientists, who warn that these machines are untrustworthy, and state and local election officials and machine manufacturers, who insist that they are".

2. No, no -- pi =4.0
3.0 is not divisible by 2. That would be inconvenient.

4. Well, since another thread is off topic
Fermat's Last Theorem (x^n + y^n = z^n, where n > 2) was right.

And I think it ironic that the "Moonie" Times would even bring this up.

7. Okay, back on topic. :-)

I'm not sure who wins, but I'm pretty sure WE lose.

Unless there's an auditable paper trail, elections WILL
be stolen, either right away or sometime real soon now.
