Karl Rove, thank you for getting Arnie to run...
and for California Dreaming your way into political oblivion..

You are not that smart, are you? Your ploy reeks of desperation. In trying to get Arnie in so you can fix 2004 just like you fixed Florida in 2000, you are opening up a can of worms which can be used for fishing in the polluted Lake Enron.

The genesis of California's problems started with Wilson's deregulation, but Kenny Boy's plan was to pad pockets nine months before he knew Enron would implode. We know who gouged the hell out of the electric rates. Oh, I suppose it's all Clinton's fault. Now just who thought up that scheme in early 2001 and where did they do it?

Well, anyway, it worked. California went busto and the Enron thieves made out like the bandits they are, just like when they raped Argentina and Texas and India and...

You just gave the Dems an opening we would be foolish not to take advantage of. Maybe, just maybe, they'll go for the BushCo jugular this time, rather than pulling a LIEberman and wimping out.

1. Optimism in the face of pink tutuism
Not a single DC Dem is willing to rush the machine gun nest called bfee. I am waiting for a hero to emerge who is willing to sacrifice his/her political career for the good of our country. Campaign contributors be damned. A DC Dem with unassailable credentials and the connections needs to step up and be a hero.

2. This whole recall
just keeps bringing to my mind that old saying, "be careful what you wish for because you just might get it." I cannot, for the life of me, see why anyone except Gray Davis would WANT this job. It's almost certain that whoever wins the election will fail as governor. I just heard Ann Richards say that she told Arianna Huntington, "you better hope you lose" because it's going to be impossible to come out of this well. I agree.

5. Having a RINO run is as bad for the GOP faithful
as if a DINO like Zell Miller were running for us. Except it's a 1000 times worse since Ahh-nuld knows nothing about politics, government or policy and sounds more and more like an uninformed idiot the more he talks. Nice walking ad for the GOP. They're basically going to take the fall for uninformed liberal movie star --the same type of person they detest.
