This swine has some nerve. After supporting and pushing the US to back Chalabi,he now calls the CIA incompetent because Chalabi has been exposed for the crook most knew him to be all along. I think Perle may be f**king with the wrong people. Perle calls them incompetent but the dirty little secret is that Chalabi's info was no more misleading than some of the intelligence that Mossad has been feeding the US. (Think as of yet unidentified originator of the infamous "Niger" document).

1. I wonder if Perle new that Iran was using
Bush as a puppet? Perle needs to be jailed right along with Chalabi because there is no way he isnt in as deep as him.

2. How do you smear a thief and con-man?
You find out he is acting in concert with a foreign power other than yourself? I guess that is some kind of treason to these double dealing manipulators. Perle's collar is probably feeling a little tight, lately.

3. Hitching your wagon to an Iranian spy is a bad move...
But when your enemy is making a mistake, you're not supposed to stop them.

4. I agree: Perle messing with the wrong people, CIA and others.
Perle and the rest of his neo-con buddies got chumped by Chalabi big time and when you add his < Chalabi`s > Iranian connections into the mix it is beginning to look as though the U.S. may have fought this war for Iran without knowing it. I am so sad so many have been hurt so much as a result of these fools and thier recklessness. How will it all end ? ...Oscar

5. Chalabi said "the Ameri- ...the terrorists who blew up" that governing
council dude, etc.
HAHA!!!!!
I know he was right the first time.
And I think he did not misspeak. I think he wanted them to know he would not mind spilling all the beans. His slip was not a slip, and definitely was NOT him starting to use a word he did not mean to use.
He said "ameri- ...terrorists". ON PURPOSE.

of sinister to me....They both give me the creeps....Always have!

9. We become what we do
Sometimes a person's character just shows in their eyes and the cut of the face. Look at Negroponte. Kissinger. Cheney! Rummy. Look at Jeb's eyes. And my all-time favorite Bill Thomas (Chairman of Ways & Means).

11. Yes but
have you heard Bill Thomas speak? Scary. Arrogant, twisted logic, smarmy smirky. He reminds me of Ursula in the Little Mermaid, a bottom-feeding villain in an underwater cartoon.

Does anyone remember if Chalabi was the top runway model used by the Bush admin. in their marketing videos around the time they toppled the statue of Saddam? I sort of remember that he was posed in a number of shots that were released.

12. There has been a festering war brewing between the CIA and Neo-cons
for a long, long time. People like Perle should not press their luck.

20. Things are going to get mighty interesting over next several weeks.
CIA has to still be angry about the 'outing' of Wilson's wife. These guys have the info and technology to make life pretty misarable for the neocons whom they view as having highjacked our government.

13. I enjoy threads like these.
This underscores the inherently fragile nature of these "business deals". Notice the double-crossing. The suspicion. The fact that none of these "businessmen" trust each other.

Adnan Khashoggi is only too willing to betray his "good buddy" Perle, who will betray at a moment's notice Ahmed Chalabi, who will outlast Feith, and all the other corrupt arms merchants.

Good business sense tells you that trust is a huge part of business dealings. When that is gone, what do you have?

14. BFEE may throw Perle to the wolves next
If the Chalabi gambit doesn't work, they will go through the list, probably going a little higher each time. I don't think they will go any higher than Rummy though.

16. You have to admit, the CIA makes it easy. They have done so many
goofy as well as stupid as well as incompetent things, that they left the door open for criticism.

18. No fan of the CIA
I think that they are a terrorist org. Perle and the rest of the gang that are pissing on the CIA might be suicidal.

19. Perle might end up boiling in his own oil!
You couldn't write a soap oprea anything better than this dog and pony show! They'd better stick Chalabi back in the 52 most wanted Iraqi deck and reshuffle! I think another Iraqi out of the famous marked deck, is writing Bush's excuses errr..speeches now! Here is a photo of Bush's intel source/speech writer now:

Baghdad Bob, the only man on Earth who can out lie the Chimp and his crew!
