Praying For Peace

http://www.watsonswildlife.com/praying_for_peace_RD.htm

Has this shown up in autographed fundraising packages yet? If not, then I'm truly surprised. :D

1. Yes, I'm sure George Washington would have endorsed the Iraq war
The same president who warned us to avoid foreign entanglements. I'm sure he would have endorsed a preemptive strike against a nation 10,000 miles away that represented no threat to the US. :eyes:

2. That's an oldie
It was commissioned by Pat Robertson's Presidential Prayer Team about two years ago.

I got one as a bumper sticker.

4. Bummer!!! Sorry I missed it the first time.
It's even pukier this time around, though, isn't it?

There's a framed version, as well... lovely heirloom, that would make...

3. Wondering why it took so long for this to be noticed....
As I recall, it was prominent on the Presidential Prayer Team site months ago.

The caption should be, "Dubya, hang your head in shame."

5. reminds me
The "painting" reminds me of the patriotic portraits Abe himself had painted with himself blessed by President Washington and the equally evocative (not to mention historically accurate) portraits FDR had commissioned with Abe and GW kneeling at his wheelchair wishing him Godspeed.

And seeing that hanging above the couch.
"Hi...Welcome to the Hannity Household, as you can see we finally took down the "Dogs Playing Pool" Picture"

14. They must be spinning like lathes in their graves
Not to over-glamorize the past or anything, but ffs, what happened to this country? Who walks into a voting booth and votes for a man like this?

15. Where's Dubya's "favorite political philosopher"?
Surely they could have figured out some way to include Jesus Christ in this monumental piece of sacrilege. :eyes:

17. Lincoln's 'spot resolutions' were missed in this runup to war
Polk's ridiculous assertion that Mexico had attacked the US and the obvious motivations for the war are very similar to what went on in 2002-3.

so that Lincoln and Washington are wringing Shrub's neck? Somehow, I think that would be more appropriate.

Maybe they're getting set to escort him to Hell.
