Rumsfeld Bans Camera Phones!
http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,9643950%255E401,00.html

<snip>
Quoting a Pentagon source, the paper said the US Defence Department believes that some of the damning photos of US soldiers abusing Iraqis at Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad were taken with camera phones.

"Digital cameras, camcorders and cellphones with cameras have been prohibited in military compounds in Iraq," it said, adding that a "total ban throughout the US military" is in the works.

REMOVE ALL EVIDENCE, EH?

2. Now they are just getting to this.
So typical. And I am sure if anything new leaks out, they will be gunning for the whistleblowers. Maybe with orders to shoot on sight.

4. You might want to check Co. Policy where you work
My place of employment has banned camera phones almost immediately afer their appearance on the market. And we're a manufacturing company! The HR wonls hate anyone knowing or making record of conditions.

6. Does Iraq have a cell phone tower network?
Why would a soldier have or need a cell phone in the first place?
