Penguin Books spokeswoman calls News Corp "un-American"....
"In trying to suppress Al Franken's book the News Corp is undermining First Amendment principles that protect all media by guaranteeing a free, open and vigorous debate of public issues," she said.

"The attempt to keep the public from reading Franken's message is un-American and runs contrary to everything this country stands for."

2. I think if another news organization
Had used that slogan News Nazi may have a point, otherwise it is a sham attack on satire which in most cases is folly.

3. I don't think the suit has merit
Anyway the newspeak term "Fair and balanced" was coined, I believe, by a major public relations firm defending the cigarette industry from scientific studies which showed that cigarettes cause cancer. An ignoble beginning I'd say. Only an idiot would adopt the phrase with that provenance for a news network.
