Bush is in trouble yet why am I getting this funny feeling about this?
I cannot help but get this feeling that the Bushites have something up their sleeve or they know something and they won't devulge the information to anybody until it's too late if you know what I mean? I get this strange feeling that it has become to easy for us to take the lead. Does anybody get this same feeling. I find it all unsettling.

If anybody thinks that Bush and his handlers are going to let his slip on power get in the way, you have another thing coming. I am convinced they have something they are going to pull or know somehting they aren't talking about. A coming terrorist attack, they find Osama, they find WMD's. I don't know what it is.

:scared:

1. Because you know they plan to cheat.
We all know this.

We have to be ready.

2. I used to think that, but...
Honestly I wonder if they have the competence to pull it off. It's possible we're overestimating them. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's becoming clear they are beyond clueless. Chances are they're going to try something. The question is: will it make a difference at this point?

10. Whether or not it makes a difference...
they still have the capacity to really mess up our collective futures with their death throes.

3. I don't know much
but I know this, we'll have to drag them and I mean them, scratching and screaming out of the whitehouse. The era of a smooth transition is over I'm afraid.

4. I have the same feeling...
These guys are dirty and I'm sure they have some made up scandel or they will "find" Osama at the right time. The 2000 election proved that these people will go through any illegal means to grab power.

Even if Kerry wins by a landslide they might come up with something. How can we trust the Bush clan after the 2000 fiasco?

5. These people will stop at nothing.
I do mean nothing. You know they had some hand in the 2002 election as well (Wellstone). These are dirty underhanded types. I get a feeling that what may happen will make 9/11 look like a day in the park. That way, they can take power completely. I hope I am wrong.

6. Remember 9/11?
Do ya really think the 19 were just the luckiest guys in the whole world because they beat the FBI, CIA, FAA, NORAD and the PentagonA at their own game that day?

Is something gonna happen, again? Not unless they all get beaten again on another day. I don't think they can do it this time. Too many Patriots in the mix have their eyes wide open. Actually, it's our only hope.

18. I think you just nailed it.
If they try some BULLSHIT they will get caught. CIA, DIA, NSA, and on and on. Who knows who is who? And where who's loyalties lie?

It is apparent now, that there are factions within the 'Powers That Be'.

The Oligachs who rule us are not always a monolithic bloc...you know, like they were'nt in Rome...societal checks and balances are finally kicking in.

What the Founders feared (the rise of a Tyrant) shall not come to pass-yet. Instead, we shall continue to be ruled by...the Oligarchs, which is exactly what the Founders DID intend...they distrusted the masses, too. Called them the 'Mob'.

Bush's last decent poll rating is for his handling of the War on Terror. If we get hit again, that will be in the toilet, swimming around with his other ratings.

Capture Osama? Nah, The Powers need him for the role of Boogeyman...you know, like the Soviets always were...to make us 'accept any sacrifice' and keep us in line.

If they drag OBL in, the BIG con game (the War on Terror) is over. Americans will demand Health Care, better retirements, govt. support for JOBS...you know, all the things they are SUPPOSED to be doing.

Much more easy and fun for them to keep everyone running scared with Defcons and Orange Alerts and Anthrax scares...they get to do whatever they want to that way, no questions allowed; 'sorry man, Top Secret'.

for being even half way intelligent.

There is nothing left except more idiosyncrasies.

8. It isn't Junior Bush I am worried about.
It's his handlers I am more concerned with. Bush has smart people around him and desparate people take desparate measures when they know they are cornered.

9. I know that feeling
it's like something niggling at the back of your mind. Bush really looks like he's going down, but what about his handlers? I get excited about the polls, but am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I feel bad about being pessimistic, but look what we've suffered for 3 1/2 years. You think "can it get any worse/" and the reality is that it can.

Dunno, but I know what you mean with that feeling. Also I was wondering whether it would even be possible, but would they be able to swap Bush for another Candidate last minute?, the polls and all don't look tooooo favorable for *

12. It's the Lowered Expectations Gambit
Same old, "misunderestimate" him. Coming from behind. The vast parenthood across the country think he's so bumbling cute that he can't possibly be THAT bad. Yes, there is much to fear all right.

13. The big clue that they have something up their sleeve: the media is...
...cooperating with the project to bring bush down.

It definitely seems like they have a plan, like maybe they're going to pull an LBJ, or they're creating low expectations (after which the story will be "can you believe this guy is coming from so far behind! He's the comeback kid!")

But I think Kerry is on to them. I think he's not trying to open a wide lead now because he doesn't want to play into the repubican strategy.

24. ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!
Yes indeedy: they *are* insane, they have *told* us that something dreadful is coming and they have carpeted the airwaves with the statement that an "attack" pre-election will not result in elections risking what Spain's right-wing saw.

They will do it and they will exploit the hell out of it.

19. I'm in on this also.
Notice that when ever shrub or any of the other neo-cons say "we're going to win" they stop and look directly into the cameras and say it. It's like the only time they make any eye contact. A few months back Paul Bremmer was taking questions from European reports over in Iraq, on reporter ask what were the plans for Iraq if Bush lost the election? Bremmer stopped, looked right into the camera and said "we don't see that happening". It hit me than like a ton of bricks, that Bushco has something cooked up. Where's my tin foil????

20. I get a funny feeling because 47% of those polled support Bush*!
How on earth can that be? He's screwed up everything he's touched and it is no secret.

I'm less worried about any scheme or trick pulled by the Bush* dullards than I am with the inherent stupidity of a great chunk of the US population. Unfortunately, there are enough of them that Chimpy could actually win. Frightening indeed!

21. The worse it gets, the more likely they make the play for their own asses
My biggest fear is that they may hold the Office of the President hostage in return for a lack of prosecution. We should not expect criminals to act honorably, particularly when doing so makes them personally vulnerable.

22. I have the same feeling.
Because no matter what happens, the neocons just keep right on going on with their plans. If anyone saw Joe Biden last night after the chimp's speech, he was just beside himself. He has worked on this Iraq problem for over a year; he has talked to everybody, Generals, Heads of State, scholars, and even the Chimp himself. Biden said, and General Hoar and others agreed, that bush* just needs to ask the NATO countries to help, and they would. Last night proved that bush* and the neocons were proceeding their way. I don't know what's up their sleeves for this Fall, but I don't think it's Osama. Osama, at this point, is not big enough. I think they are going to do something horrible to us.

Senator Biden should have learned yesterday, that they aren't going to listen to reason and he should start planning to head off whatever evil they are planning for us.
