BLAIR: 'Troops are Staying"
Tony Blair has refused to give any assurances on how long - and how many - British troops will stay in Iraq. The Prime Minister said UK soldiers will stay in the country until "we get the job done".

And he stressed that Coalition troops would need the permission of the Iraqi government to carry out military operations, like the one recently carried out in Falluja by American troops. "Let me make it 100% clear, after June 30 there will be the full transfer of sovereignty to the Iraqi government," he told his monthly press conference.
