Franken/O'Reilly comparisons

Anybody know anything about the "Lateline" show?

I've never heard of it.

1. Was Lateline
the show he did with Arianna Huffington? If it is, it didn't last long. They were "strange bedfellows". They did the show sitting in bed, I think.

4. Lateline was a sitcom about a Nightline type show...
The thing with Huffington was "Strange Bedfellows" which was segment on Politically Incorrect, I believe.

5. Personally,
I love Al Franken, just ordered his book, BTW. Catwoman asked if anyone had ever heard of his show, Lateline. I answered her question. How did you deduce it was a slam on Mr. Franken? He's not a loser! I don't think that is what Catwoman intended and it certainly was not my intention. He's a winner, in my book. We need more like him.

No way would I ever slam Al!!!!!!

and the tv show (current) comparison does bother me.

A LOT.

9. I can't wait to get his new book!
Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot was GRRREAT! I have "Why not me" but wasn't able to make it past the first few chapters. May have had to do with the fact that I was just starting school, but I just couldn't get into it....I think I'll try again :)

I enjoyed the comparison too, and like you found the "tv comparison" to be...er...skewed. They said the "doomed Lateline" or whatever, but I think that's a bit disingenuous because that show came out a while ago, as far as I know. They should have said 'No TV show currently" or something of that nature.....

I wonder why Al Franken doesn't run for president :)

8. Lateline
Lateline was a comedy spoof of Nightline. I think it was more of a situational comedy. Went over many heads I assume.

The thing with Huffington was on PI.

10. Lateline had at least one classic episode
about the death of Buddy Hackett...

one of the great half-hours of TV comedy...
