1. Be nice to oprah. She is leader of the show and only has so
much time and wants to cover a variety of topics to give you a well rounded view of president clinton....it is worth it IMHO

4. This is a riot.

Men getting pissed off because a woman talks over them.

Quite a change, eh? I welcome it. It's about freakin time.

will ever see on TV.

She has to cover the information...

I am sorry you do not have the same respect for her I do

14. I agree. And I couldn't help notice she is always looking into
the camera not at him. She did interrupt him so much it became disrespectful to me. Not trying to get more subjects covered, but stupid shit like...was the couch a sleeper? It's all about her rich ass.

17. oprah gives away a lot of money and gifts to everyone in the world
she is a very generous person, like paul newman. Might want to visit her site and see all the good deeds she does around the world and for people here in our own nation.

this is a very kind and loving woman to humankind.

19. You know some people just can't see the truth.
Oprah is filthy rich and "pretends" she's a regular gal by talking chit-chat to her rich snobby audience about how she loves those T-shirt sheets she got at Bed, Bath And Beyond. If you believe she shops there, you are an idiot.

I'm glad she gives money to good causes, but her ego is ABSURD. I refuse to read any books she recommends? How is she qualified to give literature advice? She found a stinking female niche market and thinks the world craves her Goddess advice.

Pfft.

20. she and maria have been friends for a long time
Oprah like her friend maria's father has done many kind acts and deeds for many people.

Maria's father started head start, peace corps and many other giving organizations.

Supporting her friend Maria is a wonderful gesture.

Might want to read up on oprah and all the good works she does for this nation and the world... Especially for those who are not the majority.

22. I'll pass on enlightening myself about all of Oprah's "good works"
Oh, I don't doubt that she gives generously to a multitude of charities and is most likely a saint of a woman most of the time. In fact, I was pulling for her when the Beef Council tried to shut her up.

However, she did her part to fuck up my state and, suffice to say, it leaves a bitter taste.

I live in California and I've got nothing for anyone who backs any part of swartzengroper, including Sargent Shriver, his wife and his daughter. Swartzengroper is a front for Pete Wilson's third term.

31. I totally disagree
Of the precious little time that was not commercials, she spent at least 65% of her show on Monica.

I don't think Clinton came away from that show looking like one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century, which he clearly was.

Clinton has an amazing gift of clarifying very complex international and domestic issues...a skill Americans are currently very much in need of. Let's hear more of that and less about shit we have no business knowing about.

34. I totally agree
that he is extremely gifted in clarifying complex issues (international and domestic) and watching him is mesmerizing, but this issue (Monica) is like the big elephant in the room. He appealed to an audience (mainly women) that inadvertently demanded an explanation. It made him look sincere and apologetic, as well as compassionate and humbled. I'm anxious to see if the "tone" is different on Larry King.

29. That hour was all commercials, with a few minutes of Oprah sprinkled in
I have never seen so many commercials for an hour-long program. I would be surprised if she actually puts out more than 25 minutes of programming for her hour show. Disgusting.

32. I never watch Oprah...
but tuned in today, and despite never being one of Clinton's biggest fans, the man looks like a fucking god compared to the sack of shit in the White House right now.

And my overall impression of Oprah can be summed up by this anectdote: my girlfriend watches her show everyday, and I caught one where she was interviewing the woman who's 12-year-old committed suicide and the mother was blamed for having a messy house (I don't know if anyone remembers that story). I found Oprah very accusatory and judgmental while talking to a woman who's son had just killed himself. Yeah, their house was a mess, but not everyone can afford a fucking housekeeper, Oprah.

End of rant.
