Obviously you should at least be willing to acknowledge the possibility that the Democrats will control exactly nothing in 2 years, seeing as how that's how things are today, & it's quite possible if not probable that that's how things will stand in 2 years.

I would vote nothing. You can call me pessimistic but I think that most likely the Democrats will remain in the minority. That is just my honest opinion.

5. In four Year the Senate and White House will be controlled by Dems IF. .

Clark wins the White House. In 2004 A Clark win would help the Senate hang onto it's seats. Two years later, in the election of 2006, we could gain enough seats in the Senate to win it over by a slim Margin.

It is best to leave one of the three in controll of the Repukes so we have someone to blame for mistakes and use as an example of what not to be. :)

Look at the repukes, they have no one to blame but themselves.

That being said I think there is a better than even chance the Dems will have less power in 05 than they have now.

I don't want this thread to turn into a pissing match but I think we're doomed in 04 if we don't have a candidate who takes the national security issue off the table.

I think America has changed profoundly since 9-11. By every historical standard the Dems should have picked up seats in 02 cuz of the stagnmant economy but instead we lost seats cuz * turned it into a referendum on national security.

I think * does it again in 04.

the House is the hardest for the Dems to take.

I have seen estimates that there are only thirty competitive House races. Representatives usually have a 98% reelect.


Even in the 94 debacle many of the Dem losses were open seats.
