i also have outrage fatigue but, oh well, yet another letter to cnn
on their home page theyre asking another of their brilliant poll questions. i swear. im starting to actually wonder if these stations are doing this stuff on purpose. they rarely report anything of substance and the anchors are ridiculous. in fact, i had decided no more letters or emails. then i get to cnn home page and their question "should kerry release the video,,,,,," and its 50/50!

ok here is my letter. last one. promise

cnn- i apologize for the tone here, i am so frustrated and at a loss as to why this continues... how is it that this administration is never exposed for changing the subject to such ridiculous things, when questions arise about their own despicable behavior?

does anyone report that they have nothing to say about their own record, so every speech and every ad is negative (in a smarmy way beyond words) about kerry? "john kerry voted against a bill that would prevent violence against pregnant women"

if it werent our government and our future and of grave importance, this would almost be funny.

does anyone understand what is at stake here? have you read the patriot act?

its deeply sad that with all the tragedy that is going on in the world and in this country, cnn, and most every national media, continues to report much of what the administration "asks" them to or at least continues the reporting status quo that wont stand up and demand truth. thats all im asking for here.

i do thank you for the few subjects that make it to the air, such as the iraq torture, but if that didnt have graphic photos im afraid that wouldnt have gotten much coverage. it would have only been one in a long, tragic series of evasive non answers which then morph into orchestrated verbal attacks on someone else.

the video of a kerry fundraiser? which kerry later publicly apologized for and stated that went too far?
in case anyone would like to know, THE ENTIRE WORLD (and our own administration) is bashing this country.

i for one, would love to see that reported.

truth that matters - please. why does only the surface and sensational get reported?

why dont you report that the deaths of u.s. soldiers in iraq only reflect those that are combat related and who die on the scene? does this not smack of bygone propaganda?

why cant we demand that this administration reveal for example, why it wouldnt allow the 9/11 investigation until pressured, why they wont reveal the meetings and participants of our own u.s energy policy?
why does it take a grand jury to investigate who committed the federal crime of outing a cia agent? no one but a very high official could have known who this cia agent was in the first place....
why wouldnt the government pass a bill that made it illegal to profit from war?

it is truly sad that this is only a small list of the monumental questions that many of us have about this administration.

are there any journalists anymore?

why why why is what we keep asking out here in the seeming wilderness and all we get are these segments that dont ask anything real of our government

one of the only national shows worth watching anymore is the daily show. it is simply common sense and for a fake news show, reports a great deal more truth than we see on almost any other news program.

is it november yet?

1. Ummm, CNN is owned by the house of Saud.
What else should we expect? It is because of them that we are in Iraq stealing their oil in the first place.

6. Hmm maybe we should organize a hostile take over of CNN
make it an American network that reports news... how many 25 dollar donations will it take for the hostile take over to be succesful?

Oh Joe trippi is so correct, the revolution is not being televised

2. Although I become enraged with CNN, I have stopped emailing them.
They are far too concerned with holding on to their jobs and their wallets. They themselves are traitors for not informing us even-handedly. They are the Comic News Network.

5. FAX them here
FAX: 407 827 4215

Email their news chief at

eason.jordan@cnn.com

Be specific in your complaints and they at least notice them, even though nothing ever changes (sigh ....)

10. Just checked their awful site
Headline: "Bush blasts Kerry Over Star-Studded Fundraiser"

In the second-to last paragraph, Mary Beth Cahill's requests are shown.

Why don't we have this headline?

"Kerry Blasts Bush Over Secret Documents on Iraq, Halliburton, Military Service"

There goes that 'liberal media' again.

:grr:

11. The best idea is to quit watching.
Does that make sense? You are paying for it. I have no cable, but I understand that most providers have 100 options. If you insist on watching spare us your nonsense.

14. So, what, the rest of the population can go on believing
their lies and spin? Choosing to bury one's head in the sand never solved anything. I say stay and fight! You go faithnotgreed!

16. I wish
Nope, just a Massachusetts elite liberal here. :hi: But hey, we're doing our best to make sure Romney doesn't get to send a Republican to the Senate floor after Kerry wins so, we all have our battles to fight. :)

17. you are right on with that. glad to see mitt didnt get his way
im here in dc, the place that votes 90% democratic so on the one hand im so glad to be among friends, on the other hand my vote doesnt count quite as much as if i were in one of the other states.

but the stories i hear, i am thankful to be where i can speak out. in fact, there is always anti* graffiti popping up all over the area. and people can actively speak out.

plus i get to enjoy the protest marches that come by every month or so... cannot wait until january! what a party
