10 US troops have died.
Three from direct combat and two fatalities from mines/explosions according to
the Houston Chronicle.
There is nothing to indicate that the almost daily skirmishes and fatalities to US troops is going to end anytime as a result of the threatening words from the blowhard. I think he has done great damage to himself and unsettled the family and friends of the unnerved troops.
It is THEY ultimately who are the ones stuck with supporting the troops and tending to their psychological trauma when/if they come back.
Not the couch warriors who wrap themselves in flags holding signs at the side of the street; not the opinionated nobody with endless rhetorical bravado who calls to be heard on a phone-in radio show; not the long gone classless French and Dixie Chick bashers; not the TV audience who won't give more than 4 seconds of thought beyond the surface of the deeper implications of what * sent these troops out to do.
...and * doesn't give one flying f*** about any of them or me or you. This is America today.
