3. You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows....
And you don't need a doctor to tell you that you have a headache. Do you feel safer?

5. No way - even thousands of miles away
No, even 3000 miles away in Britain, I live in greater fear due to his policies and those of his pet poodle.

Ask the Spanish if they feel safer.

6. Can one say that a LACK of an attack after 9-11 means we're 'safer'?
- That's what the Bushies seem to be saying. But out of the other side of their mouths they're saying that we can EXPECT an attack sometimes before November. Is it more fear mongering or a real threat? The Bushies are either lying again or admitting that they HAVEN'T made the US safer and saying so is simply a campaign slogan.

7. We're as safe from terror as an acorn is safe from a chipmunk...
And * has done nothing else but shake the tree so more acorns fall to the ground, making the chipmunk's life that much easier. x( x( x( (think that through with terrorism, job outsourcing, job devaluing... not all terrorists are foreign, as Timothy McVeigh proved... pity all right-wing mountain-top Christians weren't hauled off and locked up after that incident... x( )
