1. Yah, and Bush's list would be how long?
Edited on Wed Aug-04-04 07:44 PM by A_Possum
Longer than the Pinocchio President's nose, I'd guess.

*goes out to order something from the Lillian Vernon catalog*

2. Just a quick scan of the names
doesn't reveal any Saudis! Whew! Guess Bush has all their support and they can't help Kerry out. :-)

3. Bush* shouldn't "go there"
Here's the latest outing of Cheney's criminal activity. While it will never be reported on the media, much less prosecuted, it is still documented:

Here's his signature on a report that was fraudulent and cost Halliburton a $7.5 million fine for securities fraud.

And, oh by the way, its how he got his stock options to be worth tens of millions.

5. Well, I d@mn well hope that they were also given tax breaks
by the Repugs for outsourcing.

Are any of them Bermuda-based businesses? I hope so because in *Bush's tax plan, that gets you another tax break.

Are any of them spin-offs from failed accounting companies or have they been fined for cheating on a government contract? That would get you even larger government contracts in *Bush-world.

6. Response and Best Quote from One of the CEOs
Edited on Wed Aug-04-04 07:59 PM by Justice
To compete in today's business world, forced to outsource because competitors do - Kerry proposes giving incentives to company who keep jobs here - so these supporters will be able to keep/move jobs here.

One Texas CEO, a Bush supporter for Governor and in 2000 who has switched to Kerry now was quoted in the WSJ article today as saying Bush was turning out to be the worst president since Millard Fillmore -- and that was an insult to Millard Fillmore.

7. apparently those ceo's support closing tax breaks for outsourcing
even if they have been involved in outsourcing themselves. it's nice to see people can change.
