i was jones-ing for the DNC broadcast while hanging out in the rainforests of central america. i missed the DNC, but it was worth it....i was in paradise.

10. I was thinking of buying a DVD on C-Span, but too expensive.

I thought if they had a "greatest hits" of the convention DVD, I'd buy it. But they just have very expensive DVDs of each separate night of the convention. Even "on sale," they're $40 a pop (and the full price PER DVD is over $100!

I'd rather give that money to my local Demo. candidates!

11. If you have Comcast digital cable, they're available too.

C-Span has made them available at no charge to Comcast digital cable subscribers through On-Demand, though I don't know how much longer they'll be available (some on-demand programs expire after 2-4 weeks).

I've already watched Obama's speech 4 times. It sends chills down my spine every time.
